Dublin, end of summer 2016.

I am writing fast, as fast as the time running here in Ireland. New city, new job, new team, new friends… A lot of things to discover, to learn, to be used to. Before starting this new challenge, one of the most common comments coming out from my friend was «you start to think to buy a car, Irish weather will not allow you to keep going around with your bike», and other stuff like that. Well, I am sorry, but the «I told you» moment has not come yet. After 14 months, I am still riding my bikes to the office, to city centre (with some limitations, by the way…) , to Dublin Mountains and beyond. During the last year, I had the opportunity to live the biker life in a different, much more committed way, spending time and sharing experiences with a lot of other bikers, so I decided to restart writing about that… with two/three changes. First one, you will read any further post in English and Spanish. Dublín, final de verano 2016.

Estoy escribiendo rápidamente, tan rápido como pasa el tiempo aquí en Irlanda. Nueva ciudad, nuevo trabajo, nuevo equipo, nuevos amigos… Muchas cosas por descubrir, por aprender, a las que acostumbrarse. Antes de empezar este nuevo desafío, uno de los comentarios que he oído con más frecuencia de mis amigos era algo como: «tienes que pensar en comprar un coche, el tiempo en Irlanda no te va a permitir seguir dando vueltas en bicicleta como aquí» y otras cosas por el estilo. Bueno, lo siento pero el momento del «yo te lo había dicho» todavía no ha llegado. Después de 14 meses, sigo pedaleando con mis bicicletas hacia el trabajo, el centro de Dublín, las montañas alrededor de la ciudad y más allá. A lo largo de este ultimo año, he tenido la oportunidad de vivir la bicicleta de una manera diferente, mucho más comprometida, pasando mi tiempo y compartiendo mis experiencias con un montón de otros bikers, así que he decidido volver a escribir… con dos/tres novedades. La primera, es que podrás leer las entradas futuras en Español y en Inglés.
